Fantastic Smoothie Recipe


Homemade smoothies are wonderful for you and taste great!  I have a few recipes I cycle through.  Right now I am loving this one.



Raspberry Frozen Smoothie Recipe:


Combine in blender/food processor:
1 Frozen Banana
1/2 Cup Frozen Raspberries
1/2 Cup Homemade Yogurt
1/2 Cup Fresh Spinach
1 TBS Sliced Almonds
1/2 tsp honey (or sweetener of choice)

dash of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves

Pour into dish and eat with a spoon!  It is better than ice cream.  My daughter can't eat this fast enough. If you wanted to drink it you could add a cup of milk or orange juice.  Not sure if there is a better way to get 4 servings of fruit and veggies.
