Inexpressible Joy

This is week four of memorizing 1 Peter Chapter 1.  It has not been easy.  Week one went well, everyday I read and practiced saying the verses without looking.  Week two I read through the verses a few times but waited to the weekend to memorize, and sadly this is also how week three went too.  I find long sentences really hard to memorize.  But it has been good to slow down and really read the words and focus on the text.

This week I am really looking forward to hiding the verses in my heart. God has given me inexpressible and glorious joy!  Now I will have a great verse to help express it.

1 Peter 1:7-8
7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

I would love to hear what you are joyful for this week.  Please share in the comments.

Blessings,
Leslie
