Tuesday Tips and Link Up #9

Welcome to Tuesday Tips of the Week and Link Up Party!

Every Tuesday I will be sharing helpful tips that will help you make your life Simply Better.   Please join the fun, comment and share your ideas.

This week I'm hosting not only a blog link up, but Facebook and Twitter as well!  Let's link up and help each other grow and connect. I will follow everyone who links up, if I'm not already.

This week's Tip:

This tip comes from Megan at Kitty Vintage.

"To get rid of a musty smell, whether from
leaving your clothes in the washer too long, or when purchasing vintage
clothing, wash with normal detergent AND white vinegar. You may have to wash
more than once, but the vinegar is a natural deodorizer and once rinsed, the
strong vinegar smell goes away.
Beware though, vinegar also sets in stains,
so if the garment is stained, remove that first, then wash with vinegar."

I personally use vinegar as a fabric softener.  I like the way my clothes smell after drying, not at all what you think they would smell like.  They just smell clean!

Blessings,
Leslie

I often Link with these blogs.

Ready to link up your Blog?  Join the fun, link up your blog and check out some other great ideas from the linked blogs.  Feel free to link as many times as you want.  I will be posting and sharing your link ups on Facebook and Twitter through out the week.  Please remember to add the Simply Better button (found on the right hand side of the page) or link to your post.  All posts are welcome, the topics are endless: organization, recipes, homemaking, marriage, parenting, finances, homemade, DIY, Christian Walk...

Facebook link up! Please add your Facebook page to the list and follow each other.  I gladly follow everyone who links up. The only 'catch' is you will need to follow each others' pages from your personal account to have it 'count'. Facebook is funny that way, pages following pages doesn't count towards page likes total. Have fun:) Need help finding you facebook URL? Go here.

Twitter link up! Please add your twitter account and follow each other! I happily follow everyone who links up. Let's help each other grow and connect with each other. Need help finding you twitter URL? Go here.

    1. I know! My hubby wore a long sleeve shirt that had been stored all summer. Yuck. It is going to be washed in vinegar pronto!
