Tuesday Tips and Link Up Party #18

With Thanksgiving this week and Christmas coming soon, I thought we needed a tip to help reduce the stress of the season.

This is my daughter's stress free place.

I love being with family and my stress usually comes from trying to get everything done before the big day. My lists are extensive and full. Starting last week, each day I have something to do to be getting ready for the holidays.

So let's take a mini-stress reducing break! (I highly recommend doing this at least once a day, maybe even more.)

  1. Close your eyes
  2. Take 5-10 slow deep breaths  (for each inhale and exhale count to 5)
  3. During each exhalation picture all the stress built up in your body leaving. Let each breath wash away the tension.
  4. During each inhalation picture calming peace being brought into your body. Replace the tension in your body with healing oxygen.

Take this quite time to thank God for His peace and grace.

Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.

we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

    I loved you tip!! I am going to have to do it because although I have spent lots of time preparing, I am feeling the crunch of the moment!!

    I love the new layout. One suggestion: Could make the font slightly bigger?? I barely need my glasses to read and barely need them at all...but since some of us spend long hours on the 'puter a bigger font is stress free as breathing to relieve stress :-)
