31 Days of Preparing for Baby, Day 24

Day 24: Pray

I don't know about you, but I'm am so relieved that God is the one in control. Preparing is something I do well. I usually know what I want and I plan to accomplish my goals.

But childbirth is completely different. It's natural, and unpredictable. I know what I want, and what type of birth I'd like to have, but I can't control the situation. I can't plan.

So I pray. I let God know my desires and what I'd like to happen.

His presence calms my fears, and lets me know that He has my best interest at heart. He longs to bless me, not only with a child, but with a birth that allows me to trust Him completely.

Do you have fears of the upcoming birth, or even what life will be like after baby arrives? Let God know about it. Tell Him your concerns and ask Him for His peace.
